Cory Holtzman is one of the most dishonest people I've ever known. He's also highly manipulative. Much of his advice was in his best interest rather than mine; I'm glad that I didn't follow it. On the initial offer that we received for the property, I proposed a commission of $82K, which seemed reasonable given that Cory had only done a few days of work. I would have gone up to $90K, but Cory wasn't interested in negotiating with me. He ended up walking away with $22.5K--less than a one percent commission on an inferior offer. He came out with 1/4 of what he could have gotten because of greed. Warning: Reviews on Zillow can't be trusted because Zillow censors negative reviews.
