My husband and I recommend Matt and Meray to other home buyers without reservation. We were first time home buyers and everything we knew about making the biggest purchase of our lives could be found in the book, Homebuying for Dummies. We knew we needed a real estate agent who was experienced, knowledgeable, trustworthy, organized, and patient. We had no idea we would find two of them! We also wanted an agent who would not pressure us just to get a sale, as we have seen other agents do. Frankly, I have no idea how Matt and Meray were so patient with us in the process and how they were able to let us find our way and learn as we go, when I am sure there were times when they wanted to tell us to go in another direction. This brings me to my primary point, which I probably should have led with...there is no question in our minds that we got our home because of Matt and Meray's professionalism, which was exhibited in the way in which they presented themselves, us, and our offer to the sellers. Their offers are well-composed, thorough, and transparent, which made our offers more competitive, setting the stage for what it would be like to work with us. In addition, they had referred us to a well-respected lender (Keith Renno and his team are amazing!) who was able to approve our loan in under 25 days. Actually, everyone they linked us to in this process was exceptional and we felt well supported and in qualified hands, which is critical in this process. When we got our home, Matt and Meray were just as excited as we were. We had come to enjoy their company during this process and felt like we were a team battling the odds in a crazy real estate market, so it meant a lot to us to have them as part of our first moments as homeowners. They were no longer our agents, they had become our friends, which is much more than we had known to even hope for as we set out on this process.
