Nicki was very supportive of our preference to begin shopping on our own for a home on line and arrange our own home tours. Once we narrowed our choice to two homes we asked for Nicki’s help and she jumped in to help us immediately. She not only has the knowledge and experience of a top notch realtor but she thoroughly understands the unique housing market in our area. She helped us get the house we really wanted. Nicki has a great support team and together they got us from offer to final walk through smoothly. We love her positive personality, kindness and her sense of humor but best of all we love the fact that she saved us money! We’ve owned our beautiful, forever home for three months now and we’re so thankful to Nicki and her team!

I work in commercial real estate and I interact with hundreds of brokers and landlords. I have seen the good and unfortunately I have seen way too many of the really bad, I do not give out great reviews very often but I must say Nicki and her team were fantastic. I cannot believe all the work she did, from getting the home ready to sell (actually paint brush in hand) to meeting every worker, inspector, broker and buyer at the house. Nicki even coordinated the move out of my current tenant so we could close on time. Best of all, we received an offer higher than our asking price… who could ask for more. I know there are a lot of “big name” brokers in La Jolla, but I cannot imagine anyone giving better or more professional service than Nicki gives her clients, she treats the home as she is selling her personal property. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to sell or buy a home!

We recently bought 2 properties and sold one in the Village of La Jolla. We interviewed several agents from area agencies but chose to use Nicki Scrivener. With each transaction, negotiating a fair price and getting to closing was handled professionally and without pressure. Being in a smaller real estate company, we believe, permitted Nicki to spend an extra amount of energy and time in obtaining necessary condo documents, arranging appointments and overseeing inspections and repairs. She has a great eye for spotting issues in a property, both inside the unit and outside in the neighborhood. She routinely spoke to residents of the neighborhood to get important information on the condominiums we were considering. During our search, if another property came on market, Nicki would preview it quickly and not waste our time touring properties she knew we likely would not want. Because most buyers now visit properties they have already seen on the internet, the photos she took of the one Nicki sold for us were particularly effective at encouraging viewers and other agents to make an appointment for a viewing.
