Forever Grateful. I've worked with Steve several times, but you learn about someone's character when your back is up against the wall. My wife and I, like many others, lost our home in the Palisades Fire. My wife was pregnant at the time and without going into every detail, I was lost, frightened and paralyzed by confusion. Steve, who was also personally suffering from the same tragedy, made it his responsibility to help take care of us. At a time when it made sense to be selfish and put yourself first, Steve carried us on his back. When people were being greedy and opportunistic, trying to profit from other people's perils, Steve was out there everyday helping people from his community. The entire time, he was level headed, sympathetic, and practical. He was thoughtful and took care of everything he could to lighten our mental load. Steve is a man of honor, dignity, and virtue. Because of Steve, we were able to bring our baby girl to a home from the hospital and I am forever grateful to him.

It has been our pleasure and good fortune to have worked with Steve. He went the extra...100 miles, perhaps?! Unflappable would be my description of Steve, and he was thrown quite a few curve balls with this house. We grew up in the Palisades, but we discovered our mom's house had several issues of deferred maintenance but Steve handled each piece of news with a solution and unfailing positivity. Together, we were able to give the house another opportunity to shine so that it wasn't relegated to being just another Palisades teardown. There is so much history in these iconic mid century homes (we like to call it Old Palisades) and Steve, with the help of Anna Marshall Home, brought out the best in it and it is now the home for a new family to enjoy.
