As someone with a history of property management (6 years and counting) I understand the difficulties in managing leased properties. With that being said, Jaleh provided the worst leasing experience I will ever have to go through. When we first moved in, the utility company had an outstanding debt on the bill. This debt was attempted to be placed on us, but after much arguing I was in charge of the initial set up fee for the house of $750. Throughout our 12 month stay, there were multiple breeches in the contract written by Jaleh that they refused to honor. We were stripped of guaranteed parking spots, usage of outdoor facilities, and were deemed responsible for fees that were not discussed in the contract. For example, we were responsible to pay the $75 fee every time the "new" appliances malfunctioned, which was more than 5 times. Upon move out, Jaleh became aggressive when we told her we were expecting a portion of our deposit back. To spare you the details, I was forced to pay a "deep cleaning fee" for the sole purpose of me being a nurse during the pandemic. Anyone can see this is discrimination. We were also charged for "damage to the backyard", which we were not allowed to use during the last 5 months of our lease. Do yourself a favor and NEVER EVER rent from this woman. Values are obviously not her priority, only the money.
Let me start this off by saying if I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. If you don’t want to read this incredibly long review let me summarize it by saying STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS WOMAN AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE! She is the most unprofessional real estate agent I’ve ever had to work with. I worked in apartment leasing for almost 2 years and currently work in the mortgage industry so I’m well aware of how the housing industry works on both the selling and leasing fronts. In 2019, I applied and was accepted to live in a property where she was acting as the leasing agent for a friend of hers who was the landlord. It became blatantly obvious that neither of them had ever written a rental agreement/leasing contract before because there were SEVERAL contradictions between what was written vs what they demanded of us as tenants. I have record of how many times they had broken our lease and we tried our best to accommodate for ease of our neighbor (who also had to deal with these people). When it came down to moving out, we had to fight for our pre move-out inspection which was written in our lease, and they had full intentions of charging us for general wear and tear and property which was initially in our lease but was revoked from us throughout our stay which is all ILLEGAL. Their practices broke SEVERAL laws which we could all look past because we just wanted to get this over with. What really put the nail in the coffin for me was they had the audacity to LIE about me as a tenant when I was applying for a rental property an entire year later. We sought legal action , but thankfully I was able to purchase a home so renting was no longer a necessity for me.If you ever see a phone call or email from Jaleh don’t walk… RUN away from doing any sort of business with this woman.
Jaleh is an AMAZING real estate agent. I bought a property with her and she helped me each step of the way. Jaleh was able to provide her professional insight as to what to look out for when purchasing my property. She was very professional and I was able to purchase the town home of my dreams! Thank you, Jaleh!!!
