He then took over and made our lives easy: he negotiated a great deal, and used a lot of great "tricks" to get the building for us in a very competitive bidding situation. He helped us secure our loan, found us a handyman to do all our repairs and even showed us how to find a great tenant for our place. He owns lots of properties himself and basically tutored us on how to become good landlords, long after the sale was made.
