Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles
He was the selling agent on a home I made an offer on. He never countered my offer and said he did. This should alarm anyone selling their home and using him. There is no possible way to act in good faith for your client and getting them the most money for home if are not counter-offering multiple offers. He would never know what those offers would have come it at. It’s hard for me to believe an informed seller would tell their agent to forgo any counters and go with the offer without even asking for best and final. Unless the agent is representing both and double dipping the commission. Because of this brief experience with him, not only would I never use him, if I come across a property he is listing, I won’t even consider making an offer. There are too many properties out there to risk dealing with someone not on the up-and-up.
