Sheena was wonderful to work with. She is both incredibly professional and personable. Long story short I cannot recommend Sheena enough! From the start of the process, her expertise on the local market was indispensable. I originally pushed to make an offer on a condo she had red-flagged. Thankfully Sheena went above and beyond to protect me. She worked with my loan agent, the condo association, and the city to get everyone to produce the necessary documentation for me to make a truly informed decision. At the end of the day, all the findings confirmed her initial suspicion that it was not a good place to buy. Sheena was in constant communication with me every step of the way. From sending me listings to simple things like update emails so I knew nothing was falling through the cracks. I would often email her in the middle of the night, or on weekends asking her for information on listings or with questions for the sellers and she always answered right away, often having already completed my request. All the way to the end of the process Sheena was always organized and seemed one step ahead, laying out for me what would come next. Sheena would send me sample paperwork in advance so that I would know what I would be signing in advance, and give me more time to review and ask her questions. In this regard Sheena is an excellent resource. Having previously worked as a lawyer, she was great about breaking down all the jargon in a way a first time home buyer like me could understand. Sheena was very much on my side in helping me to negotiate down the purchase price, but was also honest and upfront about her experience where I might be asking too much and risk alienating the sellers.
