Steve helped us pull off a move we genuinely weren't sure was possible: selling and buying at the same time, when we needed the proceeds from the sale to fund the down payment on the new home. What stood out from the very beginning was how present he was. Before we'd even signed with him, Steve was spending an hour at a time on the phone with us, and that never let up across the entire process. When we first met him, we were dealing with a slab leak that insurance wouldn't cover. He told us the thing we didn't want to hear, that we needed to repipe the entire house - and this is exactly what earned our trust. When those sellers dragged their feet on agreed-upon repairs, Steve set up an escrow holdback so we could close on time while giving the sellers a real reason to finish the work before they got paid. Steve also connected us with Chris Fenoglio, who guided us through the financing, which was its own puzzle. We sold with a three-week rent-back and made a contingent offer on the new place, which let us put our full financing toward the more expensive home and gave us breathing room to get organized and move.
