Sewvandi from Perch Properties helped us buy a new home and sell our old house. She is extremely organized, very knowledgeable, and a friendly realtor. A dedicated professional in every way. We met her and her husband Janaka Perera (also a realtor) at her home and talked about the budget and our expectations. Then she started sourcing homes for us to check out. When we had questions and concerns about properties, she was there to answer, even after hours. She always encouraged us to stick with prices below our budget, as she wanted us to save some money for the expenses we would have after buying a house. It seemed as if she was looking for a house for her since she was looking into so many things of the property which we were interested in. Anyway, we ended up buying a brand-new home. Even though she did not have to be, she was always with us for inspections on the site during the construction, and she was with us to select floorings, cabinets, etc. After I bought the house, I wanted to change the carpet to tile. She didn’t want me to spend money and do it as we had already spent money on new carpet and she advised us to keep the carpet at least one year. I still went through with it, hoping she wouldn’t visit us during the process. Despite that, her ideas are always helpful and provide different perspectives into important matters. The next step was to sell the old house. Sewvandi sold it within 2 weeks for the listed price. I still cannot believe she managed to sell the house within in such a short period of time.
