II normally don’t leave reviews like this, but the last year has been one of the most painful and frustrating experiences of my life. I had foot surgery with Dr. Kim, and a screw later came loose. The pain became a constant part of my everyday life — I couldn’t walk normally, I couldn’t work properly, and it honestly started to affect every aspect of my life. For over a year, I begged for help getting the hardware removed. I was told over and over that insurance was “delaying approval.” I trusted that, until I finally called my insurance myself… and learned they hadn’t received any requests since February. After all this time in pain, that was incredibly shocking and heartbreaking to hear. Only after I pushed the issue did a new request finally get sent. By that point, I was exhausted and emotionally overwhelmed. I sent a message expressing how desperate and scared I was about living in this much pain for so long. Instead of trying to talk with me or understand how much this was affecting me, the office SENT LAPD POLICE DEPARTMENT to my home for a welfare check. The officers talked with me and immediately saw that I wasn’t trying to hurt myself — I was just someone who had been left in pain for way too long. I was told to "PAY CASH FOR THE SURGERY" ..."If you want to skip the whole process with your insurance." This whole experience left me feeling unheard, dismissed, and honestly abandoned while dealing with severe daily pain. I’m sharing this because I don’t want anyone else to go through what I went through. I hope they improve their communication, their follow-through, and the way they handle patients who are suffering. My experience may not reflect everyone’s, but the long delays, conflicting information, and communication issues were very stressful for me.

Great Podiatrist Surgery was 95% less painful than old doctor. I was terrified before surgery but it all went smoothly. So happy.
