Through a co-worker’s recommendation, we met Jenna Christensen. She spoke with us on the phone once, asking questions about what we were looking for, the area we were interested in and price range etc. The following Sunday we met at her office where she thoroughly went over everything, from her philosophy on real estate buying and selling to the buying process and the areas where we could get the most for our money. She had done research and had printouts of houses that we could drive by and/or go in and see. She even made calls right then, to sellers asking if we could come by and see their homes. We spent the whole day w/ Jenna as she drove us from town to town looking at different homes. At each location she asked us questions as to what we liked and didn’t like and also gave us information about the area and neighborhood, and it was obvious that she was very knowledgeable. It was on this first day that Jenna took us by a house that we just loved. The sellers were in negotiations with another buyer and were basically on the verge of accepting an offer. Undeterred, Jenna repeatedly made phone calls to the sellers’ realtor until she reached them, and the very next day Jenna called to tell us that if we wanted this house we could still get it, and for less that we had planned to offer. Because she knew the listing agent well and had a good relationship with her, she was able to find out what it would take for us to get this house. Furthermore, she wrote us a detailed email outlining all the things that this house had and how it matched up with so many of the features we were looking for. 30 days later we closed escrow and moved into our new home. Throughout, and even after the entire escrow process, Jenna was readily available to answer questions and make phone calls on our behalf. We are convinced that without the skilled efforts of Jenna Christensen, we would not have gotten our house. It was her persistence and negotiating skills that got our offer accepted, made escrow run smoothly while at the same time making sure all our concerns and questions were answered. Jenna is very professional and does much more than you would expect from a real estate agent (probably why she’s the top agent in her company). When we sold our home in Palos Verdes, the first buyer unfortunately walked away two days before contingencies were supposed to be removed.
