Studio City, Los Angeles
For some people, buying a home is as easy as picking a house and that's it. For my husband and I, it was a long difficult road filled with detours, speedbumps and what felt like running on a treadmill. When we first reached out to Daniel it was just to get a feel for what we needed to do. We'd worked with a different realtor before who blew us off when we told them we were still in the early stages. Daniel was never pushy, he never rushed us. He would reach out on occasion to check in and tell us he was there when we were ready. It sometimes felt like we'd never get there. Through it all our amazing Realtor Extraordinaire Daniel Kountz has been by our side guiding us, supporting us and keeping us laughing through the insanity of it all, through the heartbreaking outbids, the horror houses with rocks on the roof, and all the paperwork. So much paperwork! Daniel was always so patient and supportive even when the weeks turned into months, then into years. (Buying a house in Cali on two incomes is NOT easy.) The second we were ready Daniel was at the ready visiting houses, answering my countless questions and never-ending stream of texts. My favorite memory, other than actually getting the keys today is definitely the couple hours we spent at the house chatting, sharing stories and joking around while the inspectors worked. That was definitely so fun. Thank you doesn't seem like enough, but thank you so much for all the work you did and getting us a 21-Day close. It was a wild stressful ride, but we are so glad you were a part of it with us. Thank you for our housewarming gift for us and the doggies. We have been in our new home for a week now and it still feels so surreal in the best way possible. Trust me, if you need someone who goes above and beyond and truly cares about helping you get in your home, Daniel is your man.
As first time home buyers, Daniel helped my wife and I find our dream home in Los Angeles, one of the toughest real estate markets in the country. He seamlessly guided us through every portion of the process, starting with a relaxed, non-committal first meeting where he made sure we understood how everything worked before jumping into the home buying process. He made sure we never felt pressured at any point, and that we had tons of clarity and resources to help us in our journey. When the time came for us to begin the search, he made himself readily available to us, not once being tough to reach or unavailable. He actively problem solved issues for us, be it accessing homes with less present realtors, or manually holding down the off button on a faulty smoke detector for a property so we could view the house with a clear head (and so that our ears weren't ringing). When the time came to put forward our first offer, Daniel kept it real with us and helped walk us through putting forth a competitive and compelling offer at each place we seriously considered. Since this is Los Angeles, and it is STILL a sellers market, this was seriously important. Every single offer we put in was genuinely considered by the seller. We know this because we only put two offers in before our offer was accepted. On top of this, Daniel also worked behind the scenes, constantly communicating with the listing agents, getting the scoop for us and making sure we weren't getting in over our heads. He really was our guide at literally every step of the process. Even in investigations, where his vast network of contractors and contacts came in handy as we had to finish investigations in a week time. Overall, you can't go wrong with choosing Daniel as your realtor. He was genuinely an awesome guy who made sure we were comfortable the whole way, and if you trust him and work with him, you WILL find yourself in a home sooner rather than later.
Buying a home always felt so out of reach. Fortunately, Daniel was an incredible guide. He guided us and even fought for us when it became necessary, and was ALWAYS available to answer questions and reassure us whenever we needed it. And after a few weeks, home ownership is now a reality for us! And even after we closed, Daniel is STILL available and willing to answer all our questions. Can’t recommend him highly enough!
