I’ve known Stephen for many years now and he is a great attorney and friend. I highly recommend him.

Please bare with me, I am a senior and using a language app for my review. I am doing this because anyone who is thinking about using Steve as an attorney should be aware of the kind of person he is. Especially if you are Hispanic with very limited English. First off he use to be off of foothill then moved to Ivy in Monrovia. I was grossly ignored and Steve NEVER accommodated me as a client due to the language barrier. My case went on for over six years, he never kept me up to date, one time we had a court hearing and it was his job to get an interpreter so that I would understand my own case, he left without saying goodbye and I was told to go to another room upstairs by a staff member. I sat until the end of the courts work day without anyone telling me that my case was done when Steve left in the morning! I was absolutely shocked and upset that Steve didn’t have the decency to tell me the case was over and brief me about what was said. Steve gave me a ridiculously messy and unorganized invoice. When my daughter took a good look at it she noticed I was overcharged for calls and emails that were not mine. Steve even charged me for a sanction hearing of his own to try and get out of a mess he created and judge as well as opposing counsel were sick of his negligence. He took advantage of me not being able to understand much English and a messy invoice. Steve went behind my back and filed a claim with my homeowners insurance company received claim money he did not tell me about and found out the year after. When I found out, I went to his office and in my best English tried to ask him about it. He said he was going to use the claim money for his attorney fees. I tried to tell him it wasn’t right, unethical and illegal. He rushed me out of his office and treated me so poorly. I am currently filing a state bar complaint. I am sure he has abused other clients. People should not be treated in this manner I hope others seek justice for his actions and abuse. I’m sure there are enough people to file a class action lawsuit to stop him from doing this to others.

started my divorce case back in Oct 2012, and told me and my ex wife it was all final and ready to go after we met with the judge. he even graduated us and said we can celebrate our divorce, 5 years later im ready to remarry and come to find out we arent divorced yet because my lawyer, STEPHEN MIILLER failed to finalize our divorce decree which we knew nothing about. i reached out to him several times over a two month period, and when he finally decided to call me, it was just to try and charge me more money then what i had already paid him for a job that he never completed. We went back to pomona court and they even said, its his job to finish it. WOW what a crook. and i really thought he was different.
