I am pleased to provide my highest recommendations for Shane Nichols. In the process of searching for the right home, Shane was acutely attentive and respectful of my criteria in terms of the house size, location, and my other specifications. His schedule was flexible enough to enable me to promptly walk through houses that I was interested in. When I told him that the house was not right for me, he listened attentively and would very positively say “We’ll keep looking; every week, there’s more”. I appreciate that he never tried to alter my opinion. There were times when he reached the home before me and as I entered, he told me “No, this house isn’t for you”, and then proceeded to show me significant flaws in the property that I may have missed. When it came time to submit an offer, Shane advised me and I’m pleased to say that his offer, which was lower than what I had in mind, was successful. That wasn’t the end; Shane insisted on having three qualified inspectors (termite, structure, and plumbing) conduct a comprehensive assessment of the entire property prior to closing, noting necessary repairs; this report was integrated into the final negotiations with the owner, who reasonably reduced the final price of the house to account for the cost of wear & tear repairs. Due to my very selective criteria, the process spanned almost a year, and I found that there was no question too small or too big for Shane. He was consistent in promptly responding to all of my calls, texts and emails. He continues to support me beyond our final real estate transaction, providing contacts for quality contractors as needed. The moment Shane walked into our home for his scheduled interview, the three sisters knew he would be our choice for a realtor. We didn't expect to move in 4 years, but life decided otherwise! And we knew, Shane was going to be our Real Estate agent again. This time he helped sell our lovely home and did a fantastic job getting foot traffic and with all the negotiations.
