I met Tanya shortly after moving to the South Bay 2.5 years ago. I have not needed a Realtor so have not known her in that context. However, I do know her as a trainer and administrator for the literacy program for which we both volunteer, and I believe the qualities that Tanya has shown in her volunteer position are relevant to her Realtor job. Tanya is organized, knowledgeable, and generous. She is always well-prepared. She is also flexible and helpful in solving unexpected problems, making time in her busy schedule. She puts her volunteers first, and I expect she likewise puts her clients first. If I were to need a Realtor, I would certainly call on Tanya, knowing that she would do an outstanding job for me.
The hardest part of writing this is deciding which of the hundreds of great qualities about Tanya I should talk about. Tanya is a “people-first” type of person, and she works hard to cultivate that culture. I knew this was the case the first time I met her where she was the leader of our group. Fast forward some time later, the interaction that I had with one of her students confirmed to me every quality I saw in her, and the qualities that I come to respect and admire in my fellow human beings: honesty, patience, and integrity. In my interaction with Tanya, I appreciate her friendly personality, reliability, and thoughtfulness. It’s a joy to interact with her, and I’m sure anyone who has been around her will agree with that statement. If you’re reading this, you’re most likely going through a very exciting, overwhelming, and stressful time in your life, and you’re looking for extra help during this transition. I recommend you get in contact with Tanya so that you can all share a part of a journey which you’ve worked so hard to get to. You’ll be glad you did
I have known Tanya since 2015 when she became a member and tutor for our nonprofit organization, the South Bay Literacy Council. Her technological expertise and caring personality were quickly recognized and became a much added asset to training our new tutors. Tanya currently serves as our Vice President of Literacy Program and is also a member of the Board of Directors. Her leadership and organizational skills are much appreciated and will be an asset to whatever she undertakes. Kudos to Tanya. Helen Oshiba
