Our experience: I originally found Renae through a subreddit post where locals were talking about great real estate agents to work with when buying a house - the people of reddit came through once again, Renae is amazing! My husband and I decided we were ready to start looking to buy our first home in Santa Barbara but weren't in a rush since we loved our rental. We wanted to position ourselves to be ready to pounce when something hit the market that matched our criteria, we really weren't expecting to buy for months. Renae was totally onboard with our approach and gave us great recommendations on how to prepare ourselves when the time came. From the first time I met her she immediately felt like a teammate in operation "let's buy a house". About a month into working with Renae we found a home we wanted to offer on. We visited the open house and then Renae quickly setup another viewing with just us and her to visit it all together and assess more closely. We decided to put in an offer and that is when Renae really kicked into gear, she is incredibly communicative and organized. We quickly got in an offer on a Saturday and over the next few days went through a counter offer and by the following Saturday our offer was accepted out of all the others. I feel Renae played a significant role in helping our offer win. She represented us well with the sellers agent, gathering an understanding of what their main goals were (a quick escrow) and really communicated our enthusiasm. We were able to offer an aggressive 17 day closing timeline, which is scary but Renae made it happen. She got all of our inspections scheduled and done in a week, helped us understand the information we received, and got us across the finish line. I highly recommend Renae if you are looking for a down to earth, understanding, agent who clearly communicates every step of the way.
