Westlake Village, Los Angeles
We recently bought our 3rd house and Michele represented the seller. During negotiations, we were told that the house had an open city violation that needed to be cleared. 5-6 weeks passed by and we were told the city report was submitted and now it was in the city’s hands. We wanted to call and confirm this information with the city. Michele in a threatening way, told our realtor that if we called the city, it would fall on us to clear the violation and the seller wouldn’t have to do anything. Proceeding to tell us we have no right to call the city. Which was absolutely untrue since the city information is public. We simply wanted to figure out if we were going to be able to close escrow on time, given the holidays were approaching and also to figure out what the violation was about. This was a large purchase and we wanted to know all the details of the house like any buyer. I found her threats to be unprofessional and unethical. Sure enough, when we called the city, we found out that there was nothing that was submitted yet. She was probably trying to buy some time for the seller which I could understand. However she proceeded to do so by being dishonest, spreading false information. She could have been upfront and honest and it would have been ok. In the end, seller came through and we closed, however no real estate agent should be bold enough to spread lies thinking it’s ok… UPDATE: In your response, you’ve mentioned not recognizing me… but you used my house picture on your brochure on top left. Yet again another proof of your unprofessionalism. You should’ve made an effort to weed out our house from your marketing list. Attached picture for reference :)
Working with Michele we truly felt like we had a seasoned, professional and trusted advisor on our team. I could not speak more highly of her knowledge of the market, network in our community and her ability to help us acquire the perfect home for our family at the best price point even through multiple offers. After working together it is clear why Michele commands the respect and attention of the most desirable clients and homes on the market. She walked us through every step from viewing homes, to inspection and closing escrow. We could not ask for a more honest and diligent realtor during this process. I highly recommend Michele Manfredi.
Michele helped my wife and I find and purchase our dream home in Ventura County during the pandemic. Houses were few and far between, but Michele knew the exact areas that we would like and kept us updated on inventory changes. Once we had a home we liked, her good rapport with other local agents allowed us to get the upper hand when trying to get our offer accepted despite high competition. Can't recommend her highly enough.
