Gail is an excellent Realtor. I did my research and chose her carefully, as our Santa Barbara home purchase would be handled entirely remotely and we would not see the property until well after the close of escrow. In a hot market with many properties getting multiple offers above asking price, I needed a vetran that is well known in the community. Her experience and reputation was critical in getting the seller's realtor to take our offer seriously while knowing we hadn’t visited the property. A key component for buying a home in Santa Barbara is getting the right lender that knows how to perform on the loan in this unusual market. From previous experience I already knew that an internet lender was not a good option, as they often “blow” the appraisal. Gail hooked us up with a real pro, and we still got a very competitive rate. I’ve used internet lenders in other areas with great success, but it’s a very perilous thing to do in the Santa Barbara-Goleta area. Another key component was getting hooked up with good contractors for remodeling. She knows a lot of people in the community and was very helpful with referrals. We already had a couple good resources from our previous time in Santa Barbara, and even they know Gail. Everybody would say “Gails your agent….she’s great!” and then we would be treated like locals. I highly recommend Gail Pearl.
