After My wife’s father passed away, besides it being a very heavy sad situation for all to be in, she inherited a home and the headache of upkeep and maintenance and security that comes with it, especially dealing with probate court. Months later, We received a mailer ad from Catalina that says she specializes in probate real estate and had over 100 homes successfully closed. We wanted that kind of experience to navigate us through a difficult time because at that moment, we were already considering another realtor before we saw her ad but this other guy had no idea what to do and he thought that all he had to do was take pictures, list it on the market and wire the money to my wife as long as she had letters of administration. It seemed so easy and he treated it like a regular real estate transaction. We decided to call Catalina and asked her how the process works and theres a lot more to it and had we went with the other realtor, it would not have turned out well. Catalina was available most of the time to answer calls. If she wasn’t she would respond by text promptly. The people and connections she has from handymen to investors are all vetted through and chooses the finest people to help you get through the process of selling your home. When people like title and escrow appear to give pushback, she made some calls and they got with the program real quick. We had questions on the paperwork and she helped us understand and helped us fill it out correctly as some of the grammar and verbiage is a bit confusing but she understood it all. In the end, we chose her for her knowledge, experience, resources and the polite kindness she gives to each client when they are faced with difficult decisions. We truly felt she went above and beyond for us and we will refer to her in a heartbeat when we need a real estate matter. She is highly recommended. 5 stars for sure. Should be 10 stars!
