My husband and I purchased a home in Spring 2025. As first time homebuyers we feel extremely fortunate to have chosen to trust Jim and Darlene with the process. He put us in touch with great inspectors and advocated hard for us with the seller’s agents. You definitely want Jim and Darlene on your side when you go to buy a house. We were first time home buyers trying to buy a home across the country, because we are a military family and received new orders to an area we home to retire in. Jim and Darlene were so patient and kind, knowing that this was our first time buying and that we wanted to be very intentional about where we bought, especially since the market is nuts right now. We found a few houses that we were ready to see and so I booked a flight out and they had lined up several homes, in addition to the ones we'd found so that we could see all of the different areas in the city we were looking to buy in. They worked around our schedule and made sure we saw everything we were hoping to see. I even extended my stay because another house (the one we ended up buying) was becoming available and Jim and Darlene reworked their schedule so that I could see it. Once our offer was excepted, there were some crazy circumstances that came about as a result of things the seller was doing, but Jim and Darlene helped guide us through all of it and made the process so smooth and as stress free as possible for buying a house. They were very easy to get a hold of when we had questions and they were always willing to help us understand something or to talk us through options that came up as we were dealing with different contingencies. I cannot recommend Jim and Darlene enough when it comes to buying a home. We are so incredibly thankful for all they did for us and for making our first experience such a pleasant and successful one. **Also, on a side note, despite this crazy market, we made two different offers on two different homes, and with Jim and Darlene's help, both offers ended up being accepted. They are amazing at knowing how to talk to different realtors and feeling out their personalities so that they know the best way to come in with the offer the seller is looking for. Their knowledge and experience shown brightly throughout the whole process.
