I cannot recommend Tim highly enough. My boyfriend and I recently bought a new home in Southern California and Tim Formica at Arbor Financial Group helped us get our mortgage. Even though interest rates are near historic lows, I wanted to shop around for the best deal I could find, to get the lowest possible payment. In my research I got pre-approved with three other lenders besides Tim. Tim, however, was able to provide us the best rate on a 30-year fixed rate mortgage compared to everyone else. He did it without us paying any points, and his lending fees were extremely competitive. As we moved from the pre-approval process into escrow, the interest rate market moved lower and Tim was able to help us lock in an even lower rate than we were expecting! Working with Tim was a breeze. He was easy to get a hold of by phone or text whenever we had questions. He was patient, very friendly, and competent; I had no problem trusting him. He explained documents simply, helped us know what to expect, and kept us constantly updated on the status of our loan. Partway though the escrow process, we moved our closing date closer two separate times. Tim was a champion and adapted to help the loan approval and funding get done quickly enough to allow us close on time, despite the accelerated time frame. I can confidently recommend Tim to anyone looking for not only a good deal on a mortgage, but also superior quality and concierge service.
